When the tip will not take it
Devon takes up to 10 sheets or bags and tells anyone with more to contact a commercial waste company that deals with asbestos. Derbyshire takes up to 2 sheets. Somerset also runs a home collection, with a treatment fee of £18.90 for each sheet or equivalent sack on top of the collection charge.

For a business, or for more than a council will take, a registered carrier collects it with a consignment note, as for any hazardous waste in England.
